We saw Lizzie Beam holding serve with her All Iowa Attack EYCL program this past weekend against other AIA teams, along with a few other programs from surrounding states like Nebraska. Beam has been putting together solid showings on both sides of the floor. She has been a leader that her teammates can trust in when they need a bucket offensive and she holds her own on the defensive side at the same rate. I'm not sure where Beam will untimely get offers from but she is a skill hooper with a bright future if she sticks with it. She has better than average size and she has great situational awareness so the expectations are high as she moves into her final season of high school ball this upcoming Fall.

Peterson put together another note worthy weekend on the road with her Missouri Phenom Iowa program. She showed up in every contest she competes in, leading her squad in multiple positive statistical caterogires throughout. She even had another 38 Point outing in one specific showing while she just absolutely dominated near the bucket in every sense of the word. This is going to end up being a memorable AAU season for Peterson and we are only about half way through so I can't wait to see what else might unfold moving into the rest of the Summer.

The Iowa Hoop Dreams program got a tough pull this weekend on the road. They played some well known teams that know how to compete at a high level. Someone that did a good job at showing up against some of the best was Makenna Roeder a a CG. Roeder led the team in scoring one contest, she stuck on her matchup within the half court at a steady rate in another, she made the open pass when it showed up off her creation, and she kept a positive attitude through thick-and-thin. I think that Roeder is going to have a vital role on her Norwalk Varsity team this Winter and anything she does now to sharpen her skills is going to crucial in the long run. If she can stay consistent and keep showing up, they are going to love the results.

Dill has had a promising start to her AAU season and she follows that up with a nice showing in Waukee this past weekend at their AIA facilities. Dill has great range as a SG along with a quick trigger. It doesn't take much for her to let it fly and every time she lets it go, it loos like it could be a swish. We have seen Dill step up the last couple of high school seasons to play more of a complete guard. I think that has helped her on the road this AAU season as well. I can see more things translating and that's what is going to bring in more collegiate attention within the process. Sometimes it can be hard to stand out on this EYBL and EYCL teams but Dill has done a great job this season of showing her worth time and time again.
