Ainsley Ure Ainsley Ure 5'5" | PG/SG Redmond | 2029 State OR is a defensive specialist who played up on the Central Oregon Force first team in the 2027 division at the Battle in the EC, where she showcased her ability to do some heavy lifting at point guard. The 5-foot-5 freshman had a standout sixth-man performance for Redmond at the 5A state tournament in March. She’s building on where she left off this spring as a strong perimeter defender, containing the point of attack and picking up steals, and she’s shown improvement in her handling. Ure is a competitor whose defense drives her offense, and she got after it on both ends of the court, especially making plays in transition. She displayed elite scoring ability when she attacked the basket, getting by the defender with a euro step for the layup finish. Ure will be competing in the Select Events Spring Showcase in Phoenix this weekend.
