Connect League Memorial Day Classic Standouts, Pt. 2

Let me tell you, this circuit is building something special quickly. The Connect Girls League is an emerging national basketball circuit focused on providing girls teams with high-level competition, strong exposure, and a professional event experience across multiple regions. Built around relationships and opportunity, the league is creating a platform where girls programs can compete, gain recognition, and continue elevating the girls basketball landscape.    Kaydence looked like one of the steadiest point guards in the gym all weekend. She controlled the pace, handled pressure well, and never seemed rattled in big moments. Papich rarely came off the floor and consistently made the right reads while keeping her team organized offensively. She also stepped up as a scorer when her team needed it most, leading the way in the championship game and calmly knocking down two clutch free throws with three seconds left to secure a one-point win. Her leadership, toughness, and confidence stood out every game.     Lauren put together a strong weekend offensively with her ability to score in a variety of ways. Defenders had trouble containing her because she could knock down perimeter shots one possession and then attack the paint the next. Camper showed great footwork around the basket, finishing through contact multiple times throughout the event. She also rebounded well for her position and played with confidence every time the ball was in her hands, making her one of the more versatile scorers at the tournament.     Dee was one of the younger players who immediately caught attention with her skill level and creativity. Her ball-handling ability consistently created separation, and she looked comfortable making plays against older competition. Nash was especially impressive in transition, where her speed and court awareness allowed her to create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. She played with confidence all weekend and showed flashes of being a high-level guard as she continues to develop.     Tori brought energy and physicality every time she stepped on the court. She consistently battled on the glass, ran the floor hard, and made her presence felt defensively around the paint. Goolsby showed toughness throughout the weekend by contesting shots, fighting for rebounds, and doing the little things that impact winning. Her motor never slowed down, and she showed the ability to become a very strong frontcourt player as her game continues to grow.     Aubrey had a very impressive weekend with her length, versatility, and smooth offensive skill set. The long lefty consistently attacked the rim with confidence while also knocking down perimeter shots with a smooth jumper. Defensively, she used her length well to disrupt passing lanes and bother ball handlers. What stood out most was her ability to impact the game in multiple roles, showing she can comfortably play anywhere from the point guard spot to the wing.     Brylee played with nonstop energy and toughness throughout the entire weekend. The quick point guard handled pressure well, pushed the pace offensively, and created opportunities for teammates with strong court vision. Silcox also knocked down open jumpers consistently and competed hard defensively every possession. Her relentless motor and willingness to compete on both ends made her one of the more fun guards to watch.     Madelyn was playing up against older competition, looked extremely comfortable throughout the event. The combo guard showed quickness with the basketball, made smart decisions under pressure, and consistently kept plays under control offensively. Honaker's court vision allowed her to create for teammates, while her composure stood out against older and more physical players. She played with confidence all weekend and proved she can compete well above her age group.     Crissalyn made a strong impact with her athleticism and versatility in the frontcourt. She rebounded aggressively on both ends, altered shots defensively, and consistently protected the paint throughout the weekend. Jones also showed nice touch on her mid-range jumper, giving defenses another challenge to deal with. Her ability to move well, defend multiple spots, and contribute offensively makes her a very intriguing young prospect.     Kinsley was one of the best shooters at the event and made defenses pay every time they lost track of her on the perimeter. She averaged 14 points per game over the weekend while knocking down 13 three-pointers, consistently stretching defenses with her range and quick release. Collinsworth also showed strong basketball IQ by making smart reads, moving well without the basketball, and creating quality opportunities for teammates. Her combination of shooting ability and court vision made her a major offensive weapon throughout the tournament.
