Day 2 Standouts From The Classic

From sunup to sundown, coaches that were in the building were treated to some intriguing matchups. Talented kids worked the courts, and coaches walked away from the event impressed with what they saw. Just as I predicted, kids were going to receive their breakthrough based on their style of play. A lot of it wasn't just about them putting the ball in the hole, but more or less about the other little things that added up to their team's style of play. Not all teams walked away with victories. Fearless, this kid plays with a motor like none other. A shifty guard who is an aggressive attacker who can get to the rim or knock down jumpers in the mid-range. She's active on D, causing havoc, creating turnovers, and her team feeds off her style of play. She plays fast, fiercely, with a chip on her shoulder, and coaches loved how she got after it. By utilizing her size, she created tough shots and turnovers that led to transition buckets. She was fearless driving to the paint and pulled up multiple times from the arc to deliver key buckets. Her ability to distribute and run an offense efficiently also stood out to most coaches.
