Duel for the Dynasty 2026: 13U/14U All-Tournament Second Team

I expanded the All-Tournament team to include first- and second-team selections to capture all the talent in the 13U division, and I have added one player from the 14U division. In all honesty, writing a single five-player article wasn't sufficient to capture all the elite individual talent and performances I saw this weekend. In closing, I want to ensure every student-athlete who performed at a high level receives the formal recognition their efforts deserve.    Campbell has the heart of a champion and is exactly the kind of player that I, as a coach, would want on my team. She is a high-academic student-athlete who is both coachable and tireless, consistently putting in the extra work off the court. What stood out most to me this weekend was her elite resilience. After a challenging Saturday, Campbell didn't waver; she returned Sunday in "attack mode" and dominated on both ends of the court.   Offensively, she played with great purpose, driving hard to the rim, facilitating the offense with court vision, situational awareness, and knocking down shots from beyond the arc. Defensively, her suffocating on-ball pressure and "grit" plays kept her team in the game.  As a scout for Prep Girls Hoops, I look for players who respond to adversity with increased intensity—Campbell did exactly that. She is a fierce competitor with a "never-quit" attitude that will undoubtedly translate to the next level.       I could have easily included Madi in our shooter article for the Dual for the Dynasty tournament.  However, I decided not to because her performance on the court was well-rounded, and I felt that she earned a spot on the All-Tournament Second Team. She put on an absolute shooting clinic, with elite range and the ability to "shoot the lights out" from anywhere on the court. She moved with confidence, knocking down two- and three-point buckets with such consistency that every time a shot left her hand, I thought that it was going to hit the bottom of the net. She proved her versatility by facilitating the offense with poise and playing tough on-ball defense.  Her ability to play on both ends of the court solidified her status as one of the tournament's standout performers.       Idelia is a powerful, traditional post player who physically dominated in the paint this past weekend. She understands how to use her body to control the lane and is relentless on the glass.  Her high-energy defense was on display as she secured several 50/50 balls, generating second-chance scoring opportunities for her team. What stands out most to me, however, is her undeniable grit. She is a fearless basketball player with a high level of intensity on the court.  During one possession, she emphatically blocked a shot, held her ground, looked at the girl on the floor, and then immediately transitioned to the next play. I loved it! Her combination of size, strength, and competitive fire makes her a dominant presence on the court.       Kynlee is a versatile guard with a complete offensive arsenal. Her elite, lightning-quick pace forced me to stay locked in every second she was on the floor.  In a tournament where "well-rounded" was hard to find, she stood out as a two-way threat with a sound offensive skill set and lockdown defense.       Naya had a good, solid performance on offense and defense this weekend. She performed consistently on defense by getting a couple of steals and hitting a couple of 3-pointers to help her team down the stretch.
