The May Live Period is just about here, and it's the last time we will see Division 1 programs out on the recruiting trail until July. For many kids who are on the radar of college programs at that level, this week will be about reaffirming the positive traits that coaches see in them, and for others, it will be about swaying opinions on them. Today, we will look at some players for college programs to watch wherever they may be this coming weekend.

The Hudson native is a player I've always enjoyed watching, and it's no secret that injuries have kept her from being what she could've been at the start of her high school career. However, the skill LaBlanc has never left her. She may be the best passer in the 2027 class around the state and is willing to fire passes through small windows. She is a player who can swing games at any time, and the further she gets away from her severe injuries, the better she will be.

The Brookfield wing has been a player who can score with volume and can knock down shots from well beyond the three-point line. In her [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] group, she has shown flashes of how efficent she can be as a secondary scorer. She has worked on her game and become more of a threat as a driver and mid-range scorer, especially with her floater. In any given game, Piurkowski could be the difference.

I have always liked what MontMarquette brings to the floor because she's a winning player who doesn't need to score 20 points to be a difference-maker. She makes the right plays whenever she's on the floor and connects everything with her four teammates. She can defend multiple positions, handle the ball, make good reads, space the floor, and make things simple for everyone else on the floor. She has helped her team reach a state tournament and win a regional title in her two seasons thus far, and that's no accident.

The 2029 guard from Eau Claire has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. Gardow was among the state leaders in scoring for her class and was a difference maker the second she touched the floor. She can play either guard spot and has the tools to make things happen with the ball. There is plenty of room for her to grow, but she can pop when you watch her play.
