Michigan State Tournament- 17U All-Tournament Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 17U division at the Michigan State Tournament featured high-level competition all weekend long, with several talented teams battling through a loaded bracket in Grand Rapids. The semifinal matchups showcased intense action as MBA 16U UAA faced Real 17U, while Premier-Cole matched up against MBA 17U UA Rise. The championship game ultimately came down to MBA 16U UAA and Premier-Cole, with MBA 16U UAA capturing the tournament title after an impressive run through the bracket. Throughout the weekend, a number of players stepped up with standout performances on both ends of the floor. She was named my co-MVP of the division and consistently proved why she is one of the most impactful guards in attendance. Brynnly filled the stat sheet in multiple ways throughout the tournament, showcasing a complete all-around game, but she truly took over in the championship matchup. She exploded for 25 points and knocked down seven three-pointers, delivering one of the most impressive performances of the weekend. Beyond her scoring, Brynnly stood out as a high-level playmaker with exceptional court vision and passing ability, consistently creating quality looks for teammates. She competed with toughness and grit throughout the event, and her performance in the championship game was especially impressive. Emily impacted the game in every area, creating scoring opportunities for teammates while also stepping up offensively herself. She finished with 16 points in the title game and came through in big moments, knocking down two clutch three-pointers late to help spark a key run for her team. Along with her scoring, Emily attacked the glass relentlessly and consistently came away with rebounds in traffic. Reese consistently produced offensively and showed the ability to score in bunches every time she stepped on the court. She attacked defenders effectively off the dribble, knocked down perimeter shots, and used her length around the rim to finish plays and alter shots defensively. The Grand Valley State University commit consistently put pressure on defenses with her speed, toughness, and ability to attack the paint. She was relentless getting downhill and absorbed contact extremely well, fighting through defenders and still finding ways to reach the rim and earn trips to the free throw line. Karis also balanced scoring with playmaking, creating opportunities for teammates while remaining a constant threat as a slasher. Defensively, she was active and disruptive, collecting steals and even adding blocked shots with her quickness and athleticism.
