Players I’ve Enjoyed Watching This Grassroots Season

I haven't been to too many events yet this grassroots season, but there are already a handful of players I've enjoyed watching. The players I'll highlight today are also prospects I feel like I haven't discussed their games enough. The Waterford native brings an edge to the frontcourt and is a kid who will scrap for extra possessions around the basket. In the long run, she may be slightly undersized for a five. However, with the way she competes in the frontcourt, some programs will love the competitiveness she brings. Pluemer is the younger sister of Annika, who had an excellent high school career, and Maria can defend well in man or zone defenses. She is a physical kid who moves her feet well on the perimeter and reads the game well within a zone. She is a competitive kid who will get after it on the defensive end and has some chippiness to her game. However, when she's gotten some consistent run, she's looked solid and has shown some flashes over the first month or so of the grassroots season. The Bay Port guard is a kid who can handle the ball and create with it in her hands, and the game has started to slow back down for now that she's been back to playing for a few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
