Every year during the AAU season, there are players who I enjoy watching more than most. I haven't been to too many events yet this grassroots season, but there are already a handful of players I've enjoyed watching. The players I'll highlight today are also prospects I feel like I haven't discussed their games enough. That said, tonight we will take a look at a handful of players who have raised my eyebrows when I've seen them play.

The physicality Milosh brings to the frontcourt isn't common for post players her age. The Waterford native brings an edge to the frontcourt and is a kid who will scrap for extra possessions around the basket. In the long run, she may be slightly undersized for a five. However, with the way she competes in the frontcourt, some programs will love the competitiveness she brings. She is also a player who will grow over the next few seasons.

The one thing I can always bet on is that a Brookfield East player who plays significant minutes will defend at a high level. Pluemer is the younger sister of Annika, who had an excellent high school career, and Maria can defend well in man or zone defenses. She is a physical kid who moves her feet well on the perimeter and reads the game well within a zone. I'd also expect her offensive game to round itself out over the next handful of years.

There is something to be said about left-handed players' shots looking better than they are most of the time, but I've become a believer in Reetz's game over the past six months. She is a competitive kid who will get after it on the defensive end and has some chippiness to her game. However, I believe her jumper is better than she's shown at the high school level, and she has looked more confident than she did back in November.

It's been a stop-and-start go of it so far in the prep ranks for Lewitzke, with a few knee injuries over the past few seasons. However, when she's gotten some consistent run, she's looked solid and has shown some flashes over the first month or so of the grassroots season. The Bay Port guard is a kid who can handle the ball and create with it in her hands, and the game has started to slow back down for now that she's been back to playing for a few months.
