Over the next week or so, I'll have a few articles that are solely based on the senior class, offering advice and giving a sort of testimonial to their recruiting process to give the up-and-coming prospects a perspective from kids who have been through it. If players and families find some of the statements helpful, which I think you will, we can expand that idea. We can help potentially calm some nerves and help younger players understand the ups and downs of the recruitment process. However, before we get to that, we will look at some players to take notes on before grassroots basketball picks up later in June and in July.

I've received some positive feedback from college coaches about Lewitzke over the first month and a half of grassroots basketball. She's gotten back in the swing of things and made some plays with the ball. However, she's also a competitive player who can play mind games and get opposing players out of their game. She has an edge to her game that most will appreciate.

The [program_tooltip program_id='713045' first='Wisconsin' last='Lakers'] guard/wing will be an intriguing player to watch over the next few years. She's a physical player who can handle the physicality of older kids and has the athletic tools to be a versatile defender. Meudt is a player who can attack the basket, but her ability to shoot the ball could help her take her game to another level.

The Columbus guard is one of the streakiest players in the state, but she can swing any game she plays in. The left-handed guard is a confident player who can get to her spots and score from all three levels. Venden is also a player who can handle the ball and create for her teammates. There are aspects of her game that coaches will like, and I believe there is a higher ceiling than people may think. She will be a player who can earn the attention of college coaches.

The Eau Claire Memorial guard is a player who has a ready-made role anywhere she may play in the future. Hoitomt can space the floor and knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. That alone will help her get on the floor wherever she may play in the future. I also think she's a solid ball handler who can read the floor with the ball in her hands and play as a secondary playmaker.
