The Eau Claire Memorial guard is a player who has a ready-made role anywhere she may play in the future. Hoitomt can space the floor and knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. That alone will help her get on the floor wherever she may play in the future. I also think she’s a solid ball handler who can read the floor with the ball in her hands and play as a secondary playmaker.

The Eau Claire native carved out a role for herself on a competitive Old Abes group that was good enough to make a run when healthy. She is a solid ball handler who takes care of the ball when it’s in her hands. However, she thrived in an off-ball role by spacing the floor and knocking down open shots when her defender would help off her. Hoitomt could continue to grow in that role and be a successful off-ball player at the next level.
