It was a quick transition from high school team camps to the stretch run off this AAU session. Many of Oklahoma's top programs headed north to Wichita for the I35 Showcase. The baselines of the games were packed with regional college coaches of the Division II, NAIA and Junior College variety. PrepGirlsHoops will have the full coverage of the event throughout the week, as myself and Coach Johnny Vick were both in attendance.

Let's kick this off with a look a starting five of top Oklahoma performers.

Yes, the Class of 2029 prospect played in the 17U Division. And yes, she was fantastic against the older competition. Even at one point on Saturday drawing "she's good" comments from opposing parents, who likely didn't even know she was playing up two grade levels.

In AAO Flight's opening game, Brantley had her best performance. She was on fire from deep, and it wasn't simple spot up makes. She was cooking off the dribble, putting defenders on skates with her nasty crossover and stepback moves. It was an impressive performance, including a heads up play where she passed it in off a defender's back and got the easy two.

After emerging this past winter for the Class 3A Champions Washington Warriors, Brantley has continued to ascend this spring. Including a recent offer from Oklahoma State. While her future is bright, she also already is one of the best players in Oklahoma, regardless of class.

It was hard to pick between the two Katie's for [program_tooltip program_id='712936' first='Team' last='Oklahoma'] Red, who went 4-0 on the weekend. For this article Eischen gets the nod and Parham's performance will be covered later this week.

The tough combo guard was a stat sheet stuffer, helping out on the glass, creating opportunities for her teammates and of course getting tough buckets. She's quick and strong off the bounce. With a classic mid-range game with smooth pull ups. And tough finishing around the rim. Eischen has been a breakout prospect this calendar year and she continued to rise in Wichita.

Crawford was true to her long ranging bombing ways throughout the tournament. Seemingly has range to around 30 feet and has never been shy of letting it fly. Felt more efficient in her shooting over the weekend, hitting multiple times in each game watched. Also was more confident attacking off the bounce. Getting into the mid-range and even snaking her way all the way to the rim. This spring, Crawford has already an impressive list of offers from D2 programs. And surely after this weekend, the intensity of her recruitment will pick up.

Slagle has long been a bet on production prospect, because the physical wing-forward simply gets it done. Her outside shot has become more reliable but her best traits remain her unbelievable knack for rebounds and tough finishing around the basket.

In a Sunday morning bracket play win, JYD had crawled back to down 1 in the final minute. They called Slagle's number and she went to the rim and took the lead. When the opposition had a response, it was again Slagle's time. This time it was a tough post up and ice cold finish. Clutch plays, rebounding and the ability to rack up stocks on defense, what's not to like?

Ifeoma and her teammates were given a tall task in the toughest 17U Division. There was no back down from the rugged 918 forward in a Saturday viewing against quality competition from a KC area program. She more than held her own against fellow posts. Was a beast on the glass, strongly snagging boards. Even impressed at one point when she picked up a driving guard, and had the foot speed to shepherd the opposition away from the hoop.

On offense, she battled and sealed for deep position around the rim. While also setting hard screens and making herself a big target when rolling to the hoop. Even if she missed a look, she was quick off the ground to get her own miss. Impressive game for one of Oklahoma's better 2027 posts.
