It's unfair the type of talent that Hinton High School continues to bring in at the 2A level. This is a program that is no stranger to the State Tournament the past few years and I expect that tradition to continue with prospects like Libertee Junck coming aboard this next season. Junck is a 2030, competing on the top team for Sanford Sports 15U. If you know anything about AAU in the Midwest, you know this program is legit so this is an impressive feat. Junck has a well rounded game style at the guard position. She is someone that can make things happen while attacking with the rock or she can create for others at a high rate when needed. Her athletic ability is somewhat noteworthy for her size/position and she seems to continue to get better as she gets more experienced. I'm sure many might not know this name yet but they will come this Winter.

A. Aurthur comes in as one of the tallest prospects out of the 2030 Class and I can't wait to see where she plays high school ball / how she does while playing at the Varsity level. We always say you can't teach height and that's the case with Aurthur. She has size, better than average coordination for her position, and she isn't afraid to mix it up with anyone who stands in her way. It takes a gamer to have that mentality and Aurthur is a gamer. Keep an eye across the state this Winter. This might be a name you hear more and more as the Winter pushes forward but we will see.

One of the most dedicated ballers out of this 2030 Class is Zoey Nixon of NWI Select and Cherokee High School. Nixon plays a fundamental type of game. She isn't about flash or all the headlines from what I've noticed. Instead, she stays humble, calm, and collected. She doesn't get stressed with pressure and she knows what to do when the clock is winding down. Nixon still has a lot to learn but she has put together a nice past few years and she is ready to show her worth at the high school level this upcoming season.

I'm not sure where Addilyn Krotz will be attending High School but it will be out of the Cedar Rapids area and she is the type that might be able to help her Varsity program right away, depending where she ends up. Krotz is a CG/SG, that primarily plays off of the ball. She moves well into open space around the outside and she possesses a solid handle to attack her defender. She rebounds and defends like her life depends on it, always giving maximum effort to those around her. Like I said, I'm not sure where Krotz ends up but she does a lot of things right now that evaluators love to see. She just needs to continue to work on her weakness and she is going to love where she is at by the end of her Freshman season next Spring.

Trinly Trappe is going to have to grow up QUICKLY this next few months. She will be attending MFL MarMac this Winter and they have some solid pieces on their roster already but bringing in Trappe might be able to help them even more. Trappe is a respectable prospect. She makes sound plays and she competes with high, positive energy. She is the type that can get her team fired up on either side of the ball and that's not something you can always teach from a coaching perspective. We heard about MFL a few times last Winter and I expect more of the same this Winter. If they can plug in and play prospects like Trappe, who knows where they might be at by the time Playoffs come around.
