There is a long history of kids from this particular area who can do work. I mentioned in the previous article that there is a long lineage of kids who have had stellar high school careers and have turned out to be solid ballplayers at the next level. It's like kids in this area see what was before them, emulate what they have seen, and start putting in the work.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As I mentioned earlier, talent throughout the city is spread across various schools. Just like any other place, you are going to have those who shine yet may not get far in the tournament because of what other schools may have. Yet, you never know, and you have to win the game to advance. Defensively, this kid is solid and will pick you up full court and cause chaos throughout each possession. Stays in a stance, has quick feet, and active hands; she creates a lot of chaos. Offensively, she can knock down the trey ball, get to the rim with ease, and dish the rock. When she gets a paint touch, she has a nice floater game but can dump it off to her bigs for an easy lay. Great communicator, a ball hawk. Defensively, she is a heady ball player who can sit down guard. Always in the right spots to be in a position to help, neutralize a possession, or contribute on the boards. She is a solid defender, one who will be active and create chaos. She's been battle-tested; her game has grown throughout the years. Playing with such confidence, she will be looked upon to help deliver for a talented Oakland team. Keep tabs on this young lady. Defensively, she is going to sit down and guard, get deflections and steals, and really impacts the game with her energy and effort. Playing with such confidence, her teammates feed off her energy as it's on display for all to see. Brings the physicality, the energy; she's dominant. This kid can play. She's added to her game over the years by stretching the floor. When she gets the ball in the painted area between the blocks, she is dominant. She establishes her presence on the offensive end, going through folks. Defensively, she is going to make the other team's low post player work. She bumps them off their mark, preventing them from establishing position. She's big-time on the boards and blocks shots.
