The event highlighted a new generation of athletes who are determined, disciplined, and eager to put in the work. The 13U division, in particular, featured several rising stars who made their presence felt and announced themselves as players to watch. Here are some of the standout performers I saw on Day 1:</p>

For such a young player, her physical presence is a major advantage, and she consistently makes it felt.</p>

<p>In the post, Hill does a great job of establishing position and calling for the ball. She uses strong footwork and an effective drop-step move to seal defenders behind her, making it extremely difficult for them to contest or stop her around the basket.</p>
