DMV Live: Class of 2030 Young Guns (Part 2)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the first look of the rising freshmen in actual play with their high school teams, we were able to get a good feel on the class and the future of DMV basketball. There were some players that are trying to get adjusted but showed potential and others that showed that they are the "young guns" ready right now. She used the floater well with accuracy and showed to be a good shot blocker. She averaged 11 points per game over four games and scored 17 points in their win against St. Frances. Mikaela didn't shy to mix things up and getting physical against upperclassmen. She had seven rebounds in two of her games and shot the three ball efficiently. She is going through the learning curve that most freshmen have entering high school but she has the talent in her to bring it all together. DMV Live was good for the Mustang freshmen as they were able to get a 15 minutes of live play a game on the varsity level with the WCAC champions. Her three ball wasn't falling but she was very efficient inside of the arc. She was able to get a couple of steals against Riverdale Baptist and averaged two rebounds per game while listed at 5'5". She is another player with immense talent that is figuring out the speed and physicality of the varsity level. I have a feeling that she will pick it up quickly because the talent is there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
