JSE Camp: Impact Players from West Monroe

The girls JSE Camp is underway and much like the boys camp it is packed with talent. The college coaches are on the sidelines and hoping to grab a look at their next level prospects. The event features a schedule of over 200 games and each one has someone that a coach is looking for. Here are some of the players that stood out at the showcase.    Johnson is new to the platform and shows up as a formidable two way player. She can guard multiple positions on the court and works well while in the paint, but is also a trusted shooter. She is a high energy player and will be a key piece for Oak Hill. Her consistent production at the JSE Event put her on the radar.     Garner showed game after game that she can get to her spots and score at will. She is quick, tough and gets to her spots with ease, all while creating for others on her team. She is a tough defensive player as well constantly putting pressure on opposing guards. He consistent JSE production makes her one to watch in the state heading into her senior season.     Thweatt continues to improve her stock by showing up in big match ups. In a tough match up against Westlake, Thweatt showed that she has the size, skill, athleticism and hoop mentality to compete against the best. She scored at all three levels and used her length to frustrate bigger players. She proved in front of LSU staff that she is one to watch, and a legit high level prospect.     Sanders was easily one of the toughest competitors in the gym. Her performance vs Westlake demonstrated her full skill spectrum. She is an elite on ball defender, and controls the pace of the game equally on the other side of the ball. She sets up her team mates and rebounds and finishes at a high level when necessary. She is a high energy competitor for sure. Excellent JSE performance by the rising Junior.     Waller is a next level point guard and on court leader. Every game she plays it is obvious that she is a leader. She does all the little things in the game that make her a next level target. She is intense on the court, but also plays with poise. She is a heads up guard that works to get her teammates going, but also gets hers within the flow of the game. Coaches looking for a clear next level guard that checks all the boxes will prioritize her as a target.    Stay locked in for more player spotlights from the JSE Showcase in the coming days. The talent was immense and the atmosphere was electric for the three day Louisiana showcase of out talent.
