Prospects on My Watch List at Cheesehead Challenge

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cheesehead Challenge is back again in 2026, and notable programs from Southeast Wisconsin are descending on OAW in New Berlin to play a handful of games this coming weekend. Before some of the older age divisions tip off tomorrow morning, we will look at some players who may be worth watching for college coaches planning on attending the event. However, her work to get to her spots and score efficiently, when the entire defense was built partway through the first half to keep her from scoring, was impressive. Shelsta has become a staple at Hartford, and the Orioles have gone as Shelsta has over the past few seasons, and they've been on the cusp of the state tournament the last two seasons, and made the trip to Green Bay in her first season. She isn't a player who will hunt her shot each time down the floor, be the flashiest player in the gym, or be the No. 1 name on the opposing scouting report, but when her team needs a play, Lauer will make it. She was an excellent perimeter threat this past season and showed a willingness to put the ball on the floor and make plays for herself and her teammates when attacking the rim.
