Pesky on ball defender. Kept position, didn't allow opposing guards to get to their spots. Confident with the ball, handled opponents' pressure really well. Drives the lane with confidence and has an excellent perimeter shot. Defensively she moves very quickly and hustles for everything. Rebounded very well. From watching she seemed to have outrebounded the opposing forwards. Very skilled handle and passing ability. A dynamic scorer who was vital to Maranas success on the weekend. Very impressive on the defensive side of the ball. On ball she accounted for many steals and kept opposing guards from advancing and getting inside the perimeter. What stood out the most was the genuine passion Jasmine displayed throughout the game. Played opposing guards physically and pressured them into uncomfortable situation. Forced turnovers and wasn't afraid to hit the floor for the loose ball. Can drive the lane either direction and finish at the glass with either hand. Very skilled and plays with great confidence. Very well composed for her first time on this stage. In one of the matchups Bess found herself guarding a forward being recruited by a program in the Big 10. She stepped up and embraced the challenge effectively guarding her and forcing her to shoot contested shots. A strong rebounder and has good shooting ability from beyond the arc. Bess has a strong frame and good skill to go with it. The freshman started for the Lancers on the biggest stage of the summer and showed out. Reidy has a high level handle with a strong IQ. Elite passing ability. A very disruptive defender. Came up with many steals in the two games I saw.&nbsp; Plays physical and doesn't lack confidence. Has a high level handle and elite vision. Doesn't back down from any matchup. Doesn't get rushed by pressure and consistently makes the right play for her team. Reidy can flat out play. Despite being very young Mitchell helped lead Mountain Pointe to the championship game of their Section 7 bracket. Again, Mitchell has proven herself to be a top 5 2030 guard in the state and could see herself at the top of that list. If this weekend was a preview of what's ahead this will be a heavily recruited team with Mitchell leading the way the next few years. Tremendous defender who just bullies her opponents. She has a very skilled handle and can move quickly with her dribble. Did a great job commanding the offense. Has some grit to her. Will play physical and did a great job getting paint touches. Has a quick release from the perimeter. Did a great job defending coming up with some forced turnovers. Berg adapted to the speed and level of this weekend games quickly.
