Mitchell was hands down my favorite player I got to see this June. A very physical player who simply out muscled her opponents. Very confident and couldn’t be stopped from attacking the basket. Very skilled ball handler with impressive footwork to go with it. An elite playmaker who can do it all on both sides of the ball. Expect Mitchell to be a heavily recruited player in the 2030 class.

Mitchell put together one of the more impressive weekends among the incoming freshman class. The Mountain Pointe guard played a major role in helping lead the Pride to the championship game of their bracket, consistently delivering in key moments. Mitchell used her strong frame effectively to attack defenders, absorb contact, and get to the free-throw line. Her weekend was highlighted by a 30+ point game.

Karmah Mitchell Karmah Mitchell 5'5" | CG Mountain Pointe | 2030 AZ and the Pride were electric to watch in every game this weekend. Despite being very young Mitchell helped lead Mountain Pointe to the championship game of their Section 7 bracket. Again, Mitchell has proven herself to be a top 5 2030 guard in the state and could see herself at the top of that list. If this weekend was a preview of what’s ahead this will be a heavily recruited team with Mitchell leading the way the next few years. Tremendous defender who just bullies her opponents. Couldn’t be stopped on the offensive end as she drove the lane and got to the basket with ease.

Mitchell might have just put the state on notice and could be out to prove she might be the top 2030 guard in AZ. She finished day one of Section 7 averaging 24.5 points per game. This included a 34 point performance against Sunrise Mountain. Mitchell has lead the Pride to back to back 20+ point wins. An extremely physical defender who I saw frustrate and break down her opponents. Gets downhill and to the basket with ease. Hit the three ball very well but did her damage taking it to the rim. The Pride are very young and very good.
