The 5'9 standout Packer has show consistent improvement in her game. She continues to find various ways to finish around the basket. She utilized a fancy reverse layup on the right side, ripping the ball quickly from the left corner. She looks long and lanky compared to other guards she plays against. She is great at timing blocks and contests shots without fouling. She did a great job of grabbing rebounds and pushing the ball herself. She plays off of two feet and limits her turnovers. Her footwork is impressive for a young player. She is able to get past defenders and create scoring opportunities at the rim. She plays extremely hard and is a very coachable athlete. Her competitive nature is something I really appreciate. She is the type of player who doesn't care about her stats as long as her team wins. Gaining confidence in her scoring is going to be the next step in Maya's game. It was fun to see such a competitive athlete on the floor. The All-EDC guard doesn't mess around on the court. She is there to win and get buckets. She drives hard to the basket and is a terrific athlete with a quick first step. She is capable of catching fire from behind the three-point line and stretching the floor for her squad. I was impressed with her effort crashing the offensive glass and keeping plays alive. She caught my eye immediately with her awesome outside shooting. She netted 3 first half threes in the game I watched, each from the corner. Her shot is quick with perfect arc, finding swishes each time she shot. She is a hustler on the floor, diving for loose balls and fighting for each possession. She defends the ball relentlessly and turns the ball-handler from side to side. The talented 2030 has got All-Region team selections in her near future. She is a serviceable athlete on the floor and one of faster girls I saw this weekend. She gets up the floor in a hurry and runs the lanes high and wide. She has good length and reach which helps her play solid defense. She gets in stance and doesn't make many defensive mistakes. Emily shines from the three-point line. Last season she shot over 34% from behind the arc. She has the look of a college athlete. She was a fill-in on an [program_tooltip program_id='712708' first='ND' last='Attack'] team this weekend. This can be an interesting spot to be in for a young player that is playing up on a 17U team. She didn't want to overstep and played within her means, which is understandable. I was hoping to see her take over like she did many times this past season for the Carrington Cardinals. The potential is evident when you see Ella play. She looks like a player that has committed herself to putting time into the weight room, something critical in a college recruit. She is an excellent athlete who plays with tremendous effort. She had one of the best defensive stances I saw all weekend. Opponents couldn't seem to get past her and she did a good job of making opponents earn their points by the basket. Ella has a smooth shot and is always shot ready with her hands up and ready to 1-2 step into her shot. The best thing I saw from Ella this weekend was her ability to be a great teammate. She played with a calm demeaner and had a positive impact on the game as soon as she stepped on the floor. She is a good athlete with good height for a guard. She ran the floor hard and made good decisions with the ball. Her shooting was what stood out the most to me. She had a very quick release and knocked down multiple threes. Her arc on her shot was very nice and made for a pretty looking shot. I am looking forward to seeing how Ellie fits into a Davies squad that will look a lot different next season than previous years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
