Byron’s Overlooked and Uncommitted Seniors To Know

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">We're getting around the time when seniors are making their decision on where they want to call home for the next four or five years. With the transfer portal taking over recruiting, college coaches are becoming much more selective with their offers, only taking players they can truly see fitting their system. That makes earning an offer and finding the right fit even more important. Whether a player has been getting recruited since eighth grade or is just now starting to gain traction, below are some of the most overlooked uncommitted seniors still on the board who have the ability to change a program in year one or two. These aren't just Division I prospects either. No matter the level, each player has the talent to make an impact and help a program win.</h3>    High potential is there for King, and that talent is displayed on both sides of the ball with no let up. She has the athleticism and the energy, and that really shows on the boards. She has the grit, the fight, and the IQ to track those rebounds down, and when she does, she can easily be the player that starts the offense on the other end. The handles are solid enough to get to her spots, her speed and pace get her by defenders, and her vision just opens up the floor for everyone else. Major stock riser, and a definite top 20 prospect in this class come November.     The speed alone puts Fahy in a singular category by herself, and when you add the confidence, the aggression, and the high motor, you're getting a player who can alone generate 20-30% of your offense. Around the rim, she has a lot of creativity, which helps with her size, but that doesn't push her away from contact. As a playmaker, her IQ and vision are high, and the handles mixed in allow her to create something out of nothing while constantly putting pressure on the defense.     Herron is making her mark as one of the top guards on the Adidas circuit, and it's simply due to a mixture of speed and toughness. Before you're able to see the full extent of her offensive skill set, her energy can't be ignored. She can run the offense as the focal playmaker or switch into being your bucket getter without any hiccups. She plays with a strong sense of pace, but there's never a possession where it feels like she takes one off. On and off the ball, she finds ways to impact the game, and her size plays no part in that.     A 3&D threat that plays her role to a T. She's a player who can be added to any program and fit in seamlessly. She doesn't play the game with ego or a sense of "give me the ball," which points to her being very coachable. As far as her skill set goes, she's a prospect who can change the outcome of a game just by firing away from the perimeter, but has the touch to finish at the rim if she's run off the line. She can score within the flow of the game and has the confidence to create something on her own as well.     Making the move to Mac Irvin, Austin will be implemented into a system that fits her style of play, up tempo and fast paced, but with guards who can also slow it down and allow her to show her skill set in the half court. Her game has progressed quickly over the past couple of years, and the credit goes to the deep playoff runs and high level competition she plays against with her high school program. She doesn't seem fazed in high pressure moments, doesn't play outside of her role, but has the adaptability to switch into whatever the team needs without missing a step.
