Hicks is an aggressive downhill guard who sets the tone for her team with her intensity, energy, and competitive attitude. As she goes, her teammates often follow. Hicks is a slasher and at her best attacking the rim, but she can also score effectively from the midrange. She thrives in transition, where her quickness and aggressive drives allow her to create opportunities for herself and her teammates. Constantly in motion, Hicks impacts both ends of the floor with relentless on-ball defense that puts pressure on opposing offenses every possession.
