I-35 Showcase Coverage Notes: Top Performers | Part 2

Hard nose player that did not avoid contact on the drives but instead created contact first then shot the ball. Made goo reads on the help defense making that drop pass to the backside open teammates. Runs the floor like an off guard filling the lanes on breaks with skillful hands and hops to climb the latter for the pass and finish. Smooth mid-range jumper from fifteen feet out range. The strength and jumping ability make her a good mismatch problem in the low post if a coach chose to post her up. Nice 2-man game with the guard as she has the scoring ability to pop or roll off the pick.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense she can defend 2-5 with her size and strength. A young lady I have seen before, and she has added an outside A player that is known for her defense as she always defends the other team's best guard. Nice reads in the press that understand rotation ending usually up in steals for layups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A 2028 guard will be asked to step up on both ends of the floor next season in school ball. It was great to see her return to the court after being sideline for a bit. The sit-out did not change her game a bit. The outside shot was there as expected and so was the toughness around the bucket. Physical guard that took on the contact in her drives using her body to drive through the contact for the finish at times also drawing the foul</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2027 guard has already received offers as I expect more to follow. Best at getting downhill to the rim. Good outside shooter that keeps the defense honest enough not being able to back up. Nice reads at the second making the correct decisions. Great vision in the open court with sharp passes to teammates filling the lanes.
