Post Presence in the Class of 2028

Low has taken off this spring, recently becoming another member of the 2028 class to earn a D1 offer. She picked up an offer from Abilene Christian, and it surely won't be the last. A "keep it simple" player, she knows her strengths and plays to them. Works hard when running the floor and also carves out deep position around the rim for post ups. Is mobile and agile for her size as an off the ball cutter. And based on this spring, she has the potential to turn into a playmaker out of the high post.     Not a true post per say, as athletically and height wise she profiles as a wing. But given her strength and athleticism, she's a force on the low block for Lincoln Christian. Often too quick and skilled for traditional post players. And she can beat up any smaller guard with tough finishing. Willoby had very good moments throughout the 4A State Title run for LCS. Now the next level athlete will have the opportunity to carry more of the scoring load and bring consistency as the Lady Bulldogs chase their third straight State Title.     Bond is also a volleyball standout, which makes her collegiate projection a bit murky. But what can't be denied are her great physical traits with height and athleticism. She's an active presence on both ends of the floor. Capable of walling off quicker guards on drives and corralling rebounds. She also runs the floor hard, and is a fluid athlete and finisher around the rim. Importantly understanding to keep the ball high, and score quickly. Along with promising footwork. This spring she played up at the 17U level. And if she choose basketball at the next level, regional programs will be very intrigued by her untapped potential and high motor play.     Sometimes Class 6A prospects can be late bloomers, as it's hard for them to get on the floor due to log jams at their positions. Decoster is an example of that, as her impact at Owasso has been limited. But she has been an important anchor for one of the best 2028 teams in the region. The forward is a physical grinder around the rim, with good touch. And she can run the floor, quite fast and hard for her size. Given her motor and size, it's hard to see how she does not end up playing college basketball.     Bowen is a dark-horse in the class, with impressive athleticism and even perimeter shooting upside. She was a force for Catoosa this season, as they had their best season in quite a while. It's carried over with good production with Midwest Hustle Elite in regional and even national play. While the perimeter potential is intriguing, her willingness to do the dirty on the glass and block shots, will make her very intriguing to collegiate coaches.
