More Notable Performers in Chicago

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2026 AAU season is in the books, and there were plenty of players from our state who had impressive weekends in Chicago. Today, we will look at some of the players from Wisconsin who impressed me in the time I saw them play at Nike's Tournament of Champions. After that, I will take a quick breather and debrief about the AAU season sometime in August. Mocadlo has a competitiveness to her game that jumps out when you see her play, and she is one of the better on-ball defenders in her class. I love her motor and how hard she plays when she's on the floor. Her offensive game has also developed well. No matter when or where you see her play, she will be a player who generates extra possessions and pressures the opposing lead guard and forces mistakes out of them. However, she has also developed offensively, finding ways to get downhill and score around the basket. Gardner has been one of the more impressive scorers in Wisconsin in her class, and was efficent in her final game of the grassroots season. She can get to her spots and score from all three levels and score in bunches if she gets into a rhythm. I saw Baldwin for the first time in a while in Chicago, and I was impressed with her. She has the skill set to score around the rim and finish around the basket. I also thought she was physical around the rim and was an excellent rebounder.
