Over the next week, we will focus some time on players and teams who had high-end summers. After highlighting ETG Midwest and [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] the last two days we change our focus to [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack']. This is a program that has three of the top players in the state on their 17U team in [player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'], [player_tooltip player_id='893232' first='Harper' last='Bohaboj'] and [player_tooltip player_id='897256' first='Emerson' last='Johnson']. Each had excellent summers.

For this report, however, we will focus on the 16U and 17U Rise teams who also had solid summers on the Under Armour circuit and both have loads of players with offers at the small college and junior college level. Coach Alex Phillips' 17U team had an outstanding 22-7 record on the circuit and finished 8th out of 76 teams. They also just got a commitment to Simpson College from guard [player_tooltip player_id='836324' first='Sophia' last='Lindsey'] out of Gretna East. The 16U team also was 8th in their grade level on the circuit.

We will be back each day this week with more player profiles. If we missed your team, or program or class just be patient. We'll do our best to highlight as many players as we can.

Bailey was one of our favorite players from Omaha Westview's state tournament team last March and she is poised for a big senior season. A combo forward (did we just make that up?), Bailey can play inside and outside, but really has the ability to be a physical defender in the post which could play well with college coaches. She was second on her team in scoring for the year at 11.8 points and led the Wolverines in rebounding at 4.4 per contest. Her 36 percent three-point shooting was also a huge asset for Westview. There is a lot to like about Bailey's game and how it will translate to the next level.

Sometimes the main part of the battle to playing in college is having the desire and love for the game to put in the work. Hansmeier has that in spades as she has improved over her two years at Standing Bear and had an excellent summer with the 16U Rise group. Hansmeier has an excellent ability to read the ball on defense and getting herself around live ball turnovers that can lead to easy baskets. She has excellent court vision and is a full-speed cutter which can also get her easy paint touches. Last year at Standing Bear, she had averages of 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 assists per game. A jump to Class A competition this year will test Hansmeier's overall game as well.

Sawyer is an interesting prospect from Westview. For the Wolverines last year she played in 25 of 26 games and generally earned minutes playing defense against opposing teams 4 and 5 players. Her summer highlights, however, show her ability to stretch the floor and be able to attack off the dribble. She could be in for a strong junior campaign at Westview with a bigger role and more minutes that could see her game expand. She had averages of 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds last season.

It will be interesting to see Garcia's recruiting profile move as she enters her senior season at Lincoln Southeast. Last winter, she averaged 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds for the Knights. Her game developed over the summer and her ability to step away from the basket and shoot with accuracy should sit well with college coaches. She has also shown good ability to get to the rim. She shot 40% from the floor this past winter and has improved her outside shot at well, making 21 3s for Lincoln Southeast on 34% shooting from deep. Garcia could be one to watch early in the winter season.

Over the next week, we will focus some time on players and teams who had high-end summers.
