Hansmeier would be considered a SG over everything else but she can also bring up the ball as a starting PG if need be. Hansmeier has put together some respectable contests so far this Winter with Lincoln-Standing Bear High School. She has been staying aggressive, she is choosing her spots wisely, and she is seeing consistent production because of that. Lincoln SB has some impressive guard play at this time and Hansmeier is apart of that. She might not be someone who kills you with flash but she definitely will kill you with fundamentals and that is something she can continue to build on as she gets older. For now though, Hansmeier comes in at #26.

Hansmeier has great touch around the rim. She uses a variety of finishes around the rim. Her most impressive being a reverse layup she hit in the 3v3 portion of the event.

Lily is not just a finesse finisher, either, as she showcased her ability to finish through contact multiple times.

I thought Lily Hansmeier Lily Hansmeier 5'7" | SG/PG Lincoln Standing Bear | 2028 State NE really did well finding angles and utilizing screens at The Expo — she’s got a great attitude, was cool under pressure, and made good decisions throughout each scrimmage. She’s a coach on the floor and really tried taking in new information and using it this week.

This is one of the first times that I’ve had the chance to see Lily Hansmeier Lily Hansmeier 5'7" | SG/PG Lincoln Standing Bear | 2028 State NE compete live and she impressed. Hansmeier could be someone that gets Varsity time this Winter at Standing Bear – depending on their returning roster with who else they bring in with their 2029 Class. Hansmeier has a great feel for the game, she keeps her eyes up and attentive at all times, and she seems extremely self-less. Not to mention, she is dedicated to the craft. She has great energy and that helps her really standout as a dominate leader in whatever she is doing. When you combined that all together, you get someone who can produce on a few different levels so it’ll definitely be interesting how things play out from here but I’m excited to see it first hand.
