Prospects Who Are Starting to Put It All Together

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">As the first July Live Period starts to wind down, college coaches have had a chance to get out on the road and evaluate prospects across the country. While some players entered the weekend with plenty of attention already around their names, others have used the opportunity to show just how much their games are starting to come together. Below are a few prospects who have shown growth, made an impression, and are trending in the right direction at the right time.</h3>    Dévai plays with a certain level of confidence that allows her to get going within the first couple of attempts. She doesn't need to be the fastest player on the court to get to her spots. She uses her frame, solid handles, and pure court awareness. From a scoring standpoint, she is a problem at all three levels and doesn't hesitate. There is a good amount of upside with Blanka. The right coach just has to be in the gym.     Her length and athleticism will continue to work in Ashley's favor, and as she bulks up a little, she'll add even more presence in the paint. She's a high level scorer, but what also stands out is her awareness and ability to make plays for others while on the move with the ball. Her body control has continued to improve, and she's not afraid to attack the rim and make something happen when she gets there. Stock is definitely rising.     A walking double double waiting to happen. Schuster stands out immediately, and it's not just because of her height and length. She's mobile, aware, and has a soft touch around the rim that keeps defenses on their feet and their heads on a swivel whenever she's within 8 to 10 feet of the basket. She has solid hands and knows how to use her size to her advantage on the defensive end without getting into foul trouble.     Noud continues to get better in all aspects of her game, whether that's due to age, confidence, heavy hours in the gym, or the perfect blend of all three. She is making noise at the guard spot. Outside of her ability to score and knock down the three, her playmaking stands out immediately. She does a good job of putting pressure on the defense as a scorer, allowing her teammates to find open spaces as defenders shift their attention toward her.     Alexa is a piece that every program can utilize to win. She plays both sides of the ball with high energy and doesn't seem to have a slow down button. The effort she puts into each possession is becoming my favorite thing about her approach to the game. Yes, she can score at the rim, in the midrange, and beyond the arc, but it's what she's willing to do to score that stands out. She doesn't always settle, looks for the best option, and if the best option is her, she's not afraid to go get it. The body control mixed with the athleticism and attitude is what coaches are in need of.
