PSB Richmond Players Making Statements in July

[program_tooltip program_id='715550' first='Pro' last='Skills Richmond'] have put together a strong July thus far, competing against quality competition at Select Events Midwest Summer Classic. The program features guards, wings, and forwards who impact the game in a variety of ways. Here are 6 players who stood with their performances this month.    Bullock impacts the game on both ends of the floor with her ability to score, defend, and play in transition. She knocked down threes, including a catch-and-shoot opportunity on the wing, while also attacking the basket, finishing through contact for an and-one and pushing the ball coast-to-coast after making herself available for an outlet pass. Defensively, she applied constant pressure, disrupted ball handlers with active feet and length, made smart switches, forced tough decisions, and even turned a steal in the press into an immediate assist for an easy basket.     Morton is an athletic, high-energy guard whose defensive intensity creates offense. She pressures the ball full court, generates steals, blocks shots, and disrupts opposing ball handlers before quickly converting those turnovers into fast-break layups. She also attacks gaps in the half court, weaves through traffic in transition, rebounds, and finishes around multiple defenders, making her an impact player on both ends.     Taylor is a physical interior presence who creates scoring opportunities around the basket. She establishes strong position in the paint by flashing to open space, sealing defenders, and using proper footwork in the post to finish efficiently, whether on reverse layups, post moves, or low-block touches. She also contributes on the defensive end by boxing out, rebounding, and protecting the rim with timely shot blocks.     Preston plays with strength and patience, finding ways to score through smart movement and aggressive play. She excels in transition by running the floor, cutting into space, and positioning herself for easy finishes, while also showing the ability to split defenders and attack the basket. She reads the game well by establishing her pivot foot to see her options, and her physical defense allows her to rip the ball away from opponents and immediately turn those possessions into points.     Epps is a poised, downhill guard who plays with good pace and puts pressure on the defense. She handles the ball well in transition, attacks open gaps with aggressive drives, finishes through contact, and earns frequent trips to the free-throw line, where she converts. She also shows strong floor leadership by slowing the game down when needed, making smart entry passes, knocking down the three, and contributing defensively by protecting the paint and contesting shots with active hands feet and hands.     Comer is a versatile scoring guard who can create her own shot at all three levels while making quick decisions with the ball in her hands. She knocked down perimeter shots off the catch and dribble, attacked closeouts with a sharp crossover, used her pivot foot to create separation on baseline drives, and finished efficiently with layups and floaters. She also runs the floor well in transition, finds open space for kickout threes, rebounds for second-chance opportunities, and capitalizes at the free-throw line.
