The senior combo guard never forced the action, consistently making the right reads while picking her spots offensively. Her steady playmaking and decision-making were key throughout the event.

Harrison looked right at home with her new Valley Vista squad. The senior quickly embraced a leadership role, impacting the game with her versatility on both ends of the floor. She showcased a polished offensive game and made several instinctive defensive plays that helped set the tone for the Monsoon.

Medina continues to be one of the steadiest point guards in Arizona. She controlled the pace, handled the basketball, and consistently made winning plays throughout the weekend. She may not always fill the stat sheet, but she is the type of floor general every coach wants leading their team.

Coleman ran the Bears' offense with confidence and poise throughout the weekend. The senior point guard looked comfortable directing the floor while also showing more of a willingness to score when opportunities arose. She appears ready to take on an even bigger leadership role this season.

Sidhu turned in a strong weekend with her aggressive offensive approach. The senior guard consistently attacked the basket, finished through traffic, and knocked down shots from well beyond the arc. Her ability to score at all three levels makes her a difficult matchup for opposing defenses.

Section 7, one of the nation's premier scholastic events, took place on June 19th and 20th at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa. The future of Arizona girls' basketball was on full display, as several players made strong statements against quality competition.
