Bigger Roles Could Be Coming for These Class of 2030 Prospects

For this freshman class, Division I offers will carry most of the weight, especially since offers aren't being handed out as early or as easily as they once were. From there, true college potential, evident skill, size, production within a competitive high school or AAU program, upside, and long-term projection will all be valued. High school stats alone will not hold much weight. These rankings will continue to expand over time, and spots can change due to injuries, new offers, development, or simply other prospects getting better. Below are a couple of prospects that could play a strong role for their high school program. </h3>    Zaremba is TALENTED, and she could definitely find herself playing high-level varsity minutes in year one. I mentioned a year back how high her potential was, and she is on track to keep building on that. She's quick on both ends, and her ability to create and take advantage of angles comes from how strong she is with the ball. There's a lot of upside here.     The scoring ability is still at the top of Jones' skill set, and St. Laurence has had some strong scoring guards over the years. If she's put in a position to earn quality minutes or even start this season, she could bring another layer to this program and help replace some of the scoring lost from the graduating guards.     Smooth, lengthy, and adaptable, Eva fits the type of player who thrives in Prospect's system. Given how they let younger players build confidence and play, she could fit right in. She's aggressive on the offensive end from every level, and the long frame could allow her to be a strong defender on the perimeter as well. Eva could get some burn in year one and be a key piece to this young core over the next couple of years.     Augustyn is a strong post player who has great hands and high awareness, and she has a chance to play multiple roles for a program that could utilize her versatility. Whether it's in the paint or stretching it out to the three, her development over time will be key to how successful she can be in those roles. She'll also be suiting up with some strong guards this season and over the course of her high school career, which should give her opportunities to grow within that versatility.     Some players just have that IT factor… and Jalexa has it. She moves throughout the court and dribbles with pace without being out of control, and her shot form is pure and seamless. Resurrection has some strong guards who like to play aggressively, and Rodriguez could bring a more laid-back approach that could be utilized well in the half court setting.
