Smooth, lengthy, and adaptable, Eva fits the type of player who thrives in Prospect’s system. Given how they let younger players build confidence and play, she could fit right in. She’s aggressive on the offensive end from every level, and the long frame could allow her to be a strong defender on the perimeter as well. Eva could get some burn in year one and be a key piece to this young core over the next couple of years.

Eva was one of the best distributors that I saw at Sunday’s event. She already displays some elite passing skills, and has a high basketball IQ for a 9th grader.

But Eva’s talent is on full display when she’s shooting the ball. She has a great stroke from deep, and is a constant threat to bury a 3-pointer. She can hit it when she’s open, or she can put on a devastating pump fake, and drill a shot right in her defender’s face.

Eva is a very creative shot-taker, and she consistently finds ways to create space and get herself open. Her footwork is already elite, and I watched her deliver a vicious step-back that broke her defender’s ankles in her last game of the day.

Eva brought a tremendous level of skill and talent to her team on Sunday. She has great situational awareness, with awesome ball-handling skills. She runs the point well, and is an excellent passer; with an ability to work the ball out of a trapping defense.

She was one of the best passers I watched on Sunday. And maybe one of the best deep ball shooters as well. She has a great stroke from deep, and is a constant threat to bury a 3-pointer. She’s got a great step-back, and can bury a shot right in the face of her defender.

Her footwork is pristine, showing off a few broken ankles in her wake. She was a very creative shot-taker, and just manages to find ways to create separation between her and the defender.

Eva has a lot going for her, and is a player to watch as she develops these next few years.
