Freshman Showcase- Team 4

She will have a lot on her shoulders heading into her freshman season being a huge factor in her teams success. She has good handles and moves well without the ball. Good energy, and knows where she's supposed to be on the defensive end. Just keep getting in the gym and working.      In her second game of the day, she displayed some excellent point guard skills, including the ability to create shots with excellent footwork. She commanded the floor well, moved well without the ball, flashing through and communicating.     She has a good nose for the ball, just needs to continue to work on her overall skillset. Defensively she does move to her opponent well but she's just young and still learning the game.      Zooey is a solid fundamental prospect, goes off 2 feet well. Long and lanky just needs to continue to put strength on and get in the gym and continue to work leading up to the season.     Piper has great handles, knows the game extremely well with a good IQ. Outstanding on ball defender. Solid at both ends of the floor. Great court vision and can knock it down from anywhere on the court.     She displayed good footwork with the basketball, good turnaround shot fade away 15 footer. She's an offensive weapon! Great range, smooth shooter from three.     She is an excellent quick catch and shoot player from deep range, also has good handles and with continued work in the gym or ceiling could continue to raise. She has a good basketball IQ.     Piper has a very strong, physical frame, also has good handles and can handle the physical part of the game. Good pick and pop player.  Love her explosiveness to the rim. She's a playmaker!     I was impressed with how she defended, she stepped out and guarded up top, had a nice deflection with active hands. She also did a pretty good job protecting the baseline. Just needs to work offensively knowing where she's at and using the glass to finish.
