Players Quietly Stacking The Days This Summer

In today's recruiting landscape, it can be easy to get caught up in rankings, social media attention, offers, and who is getting the most recognition. But every player's journey looks different, and the players who continue to improve are often the ones who understand that development does not happen overnight. Throughout the travel ball and June HS season, there were players who consistently showed up, competed, embraced challenges, and continued to stack good days together. They may not always be the loudest names on social media or the players receiving the most attention, but they are putting in the work behind the scenes and continuing to grow their games. The path to playing at the next level is different for everyone. The important thing is to stay focused on your own journey, keep developing, and trust that the work you put in will eventually show. These are some of the players who quietly kept getting better throughout the summer:    Eriyana is a player who continues to quietly build her game through consistent work and production. She brings a strong, physical frame to the floor and competes with active hands defensively by making plays that don't always show up in the box score. She rebounds with toughness and has the ability to finish difficult, crafty shots around the rim. Eriyana can also stretch the floor and knock down the three-point shot to give her another dimension offensively. Her combination of physicality, skill, and defensive activity makes her a player worth continuing to monitor as she works toward the next level.     Ki'Asia continues to quietly make her presence felt with a combination of athleticism, playmaking, and defensive intensity. The quick and shifty point guard is one of the top athletes in Brevard County and uses her speed and change of direction to create advantages on both ends of the floor. She is a strong passer who sees the floor well and consistently delivers crisp passes to her teammates. Defensively, Ki'Asia is a pest who uses her quickness to pressure the ball and generate steals. Her ability to impact the game with her athleticism, pace, and unselfish play makes her a player who continues to stack good days.     Gaby is the type of player who consistently finds ways to help her team win. She plays hard on both ends of the floor, does whatever is asked of her, and brings a high level of energy to every possession. She has good speed and a solid handle, and uses changes of direction and pace to create advantages with the ball. Gabriella is also an unselfish player who keeps teammates involved and understands how to make the right play rather than forcing the action. Her willingness to embrace any role and consistently make winning plays is what makes her a player worth watching as she continues to develop.     Derin continues to quietly build her game with a combination of speed, skill, and creativity. She has a good handle and does an excellent job changing direction and pace to keep defenders off balance before getting downhill to the rim. Once she gets there, Derin has shown the ability to make difficult and acrobatic finishes around the basket. She also possesses sound shooting mechanics and a good stroke, giving her the ability to threaten defenses both off the bounce and from the perimeter. Her ability to consistently create advantages with her pace and attacking ability makes her a player to keep an eye on.     Vivianna continues to show the versatility and toughness that make her an intriguing prospect. She plays hard on every possession and impacts the game on both ends of the floor, including blocking shots and battling for rebounds. Offensively, she has the ability to score both inside and outside, giving her multiple ways to contribute depending on what her team needs. Her combination of effort, versatility, and willingness to make plays all over the floor makes her a player who is quietly continuing to build her game.     Joslyn has established herself as one of the best shooters in her class. She has a smooth stroke, deep range, and a quick release that allows her to get shots off before defenses can close out. Her footwork also stands out, as she consistently does a good job getting her feet set and prepared to shoot. Joslyn adapted well to her role on the EYBL circuit and proved she could still be a difference-maker while competing against some of the best players in the country. Her shooting ability and willingness to embrace her role are two of the reasons she continues to be a player worth watching.
