How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
“I would describe my gameplay style as aggressive, confident, and team-oriented. As a perimeter guard, I look to create scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates while playing with energy and intensity on both ends of the court. I take pride in making smart plays, competing hard, and bringing positive energy to my team.”
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality going into every game and practice is to compete at a high level while making smart plays for both myself and my teammates.I play with confidence, stay aggressive when opportunities present themselves and I pride myself on being a team-first player who works hard.My teammates describe me as funny, encouraging, and energetic because I always try to keep positive energy around the team!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I received "Student of the year"award through my Early Childhood Program, which reflects my dedication,work ethic, and commitment to growth.I work with children ages 4–5 throughout the school year, helping prepare them academically and socially for kindergarten.This experience has strengthened my leadership, communication, patience,and ability to positively impact others both on and off the Court!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
“Through basketball and my personal experiences, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. I lead by example, encourage my teammates on and off the court, and enjoy working in team environments. I have also participated in community service events that have helped me grow as both a player and a person.”
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
“During my freshman year, I suffered a serious femur injury that required surgery and kept me out of basketball for nearly a year and a half. The recovery process taught me perseverance, mental toughness, discipline, and how to overcome adversity, making me stronger both on and off the court.”
What type of college are you looking for?
“I am looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically while also providing a supportive and competitive environment. I want to be part of a program that values hard work, teamwork, discipline, and player development. Finding a school with a strong sense of community, great coaching, and opportunities to grow as both a student and athlete is very important to me.”
