Tiarra Redding, a sophomore power forward, turned in an impressive performance with her ability to run the floor and impact the game in transition. She consistently pushed the break after securing defensive rebounds, even taking the ball coast-to-coast when defenses failed to pick her up. Redding also displayed excellent court vision, delivering accurate vertical passes that created easy scoring opportunities for her teammates. One of her best sequences came when she grabbed a rebound, ignited the fast break herself, and then made a smart play to a teammate on the wing for an easy transition basket. Her mobility, decision-making, and ability to initiate offense from the frontcourt make her a versatile young prospect with plenty of upside. Torres rebounded the basketball well and provided a strong presence in the middle of the defense, consistently positioning herself to protect the paint. She ran the floor with purpose, creating easy scoring opportunities in transition, and finished effectively around the basket. Her combination of effort, positioning, and efficiency made her one of the more dependable post players in the building. She is a natural shot blocker with good timing. She utilizes these skills on the ball and on help-side defense. Harris's offensive game is still developing. She is consistent around the rim and can also attack downhill. Harris also runs the floor well on the fast break and also getting back on defense . In the open court is where her athleticism shines and further illustrates her ability to impact the game from multiple areas on the court. She was at it again at the FABC showcase, knocking down the three and getting to the rim. Smith has raised her stock considerably and her profile includes a D1 offer.
