Within this big pot about to take flight this upcoming year, you have a little bit of everything. Solid bigs who can defend, guards and wings who can score the basketball at a high clip, kids who aren't just offense-minded, but bring it on defense as well. This class may not have come in as highly-touted as most, but they are turning into some well-rounded hoopers who are about to make some noise.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This upcoming season, you will see many 29s get a lot of playing time. Sure, a senior class has graduated, but I truly believe that each of them has earned the minutes. From watching them in JV and throughout the travel ball season, you will see many girls who have gained confidence and improved their skills and abilities. Just like you all, I am excited for this upcoming season. I am truly excited about this class because they have put in the work collectively. You are going to find a little bit of everything in this class. One who can not only put the ball in the net consistently, but also drop dimes like no other to teammates. Mind you, she too is a tough defender. One who will create chaos throughout the game. She is a solid two-way ballplayer who plays with fierce determination. She will step into a bigger role this season, and you better believe she will excel at it. Look for her and a cast of others to help Ravenwood compete for districts this upcoming year. She's battle-tested and ready to showcase her talents.
