The immediate thing that jumps out about Crawford is the energy she plays with. She is always fully locked into the game and is willing to do whatever it takes for her team to win. She displayed this skillset during her school season and in a recent summer basketball tournament with the STARS Basketball Club .

In the tournament, Crawford was providing great perimeter defense, and her effort shone through when she dove on the floor for a loose ball. On offense, Crawford drove to the basket with confidence and made several contested buckets by the rim.

Crawford also has a great perimeter jumper and, although listed as an SG, is more than capable of being a point guard in offensive sets. She has high-level dribble moves that she can use to create space.

 A tough competitor, she is always in the right spot at the right time. A solid two-way player, she has a knack for being around the ball and making a difference. Can score from all 3 levels, dishes the rock to teammates who have an advantage, keeps possessions alive; she is a heady ballplayer who knows how to maximize herself on each possession. Defensively, she is going to get steals/deflections, contribute on the boards, and be in a position to make it hard for offenses to operate. She’s a kid who plays with a lot of grit. Her stock is on the rise, and look for her to be a hot name to follow for years to come.

She stood out as a versatile wing defender. She has the speed to guard guards, and had the size to guard most wings at the event. In five-on-five, she showed what she could do defensively by jumping a passing lane and securing a steal.

On the offensive end, Crawford showed she was more than capable and comfortable of creating off the dribble, as she displayed solid dribbling skills at the event.

Athletic wing who just competes on both ends of the floor. She can knock down the 3-ball consistently, exploit the mid-range, and finish at the rim. She loves competition and is willing to go compete and guard the other team’s best player. Keeping the opponent in front, she is going to give them fits as she locks them up. A great teammate who is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Look for her to carve out some time and contribute to this solid Lady Lions ball club that will be competing for state contention.
