The young ladies were able to play in front of sideline full of coaches and scouts. This would seem overwhelming to most young athletes but these ladies showed no concern for the crowd nor coaches, but simply played ball.

Here is a list of players for the class of 2031 who showed potential and gained attention.

Camryn was very active on the defensive during the 5v5 scrimmages. Playing sparingly minutes with wholesale substitutions, Camryn was still able to create two steals within the first half.

She had signs of a calming offensive floor general, as she did not allow the defense to dictate her ability to pass, drive, or shoot. She played within her skill set and made sound decisions.

On one particular play. Nibblett stepped into the passing lane for a steal who then was able to finish an 'And-1" at the rim with her left.

Nadia had a natural feel for the ball and understood the assignment of not picking up her dribble. She was able to create space a few times where she either changed speed and direction or found an open teammate by keeping her head up.

Daanya has a natural feel for the ball with an endless motor. On most possessions she was fighting for loose balls or banging in the paint for rebounds.

Daanya understands spacing and moves well without the ball in hand. She was able to find weaknesses within the defense then showed signs of a soft mid range shot.

Kennedi looked to be the most skilled ball handler during the 5v5 scrimmages. She was able to display a few packages of moves that allowed her to beat her defender, as she seems to understand the importance of changing speed then redirect.

Offensively, Kennedi prefers to drive. Look for her to become a strong point guard as she grows into the role by getting her teammates more involved within the offensive.
