695 Hoops Fall League Report (Week 2)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Week two of the 695 Hoops Fall League featured several intriguing matchups while showcasing some of the Baltimore area's top talent. With games taking place at three different locations, I decided to set up camp at Pikesville High School for the day. There was plenty of talent on display, with several players delivering standout performances. She also made one of her better plays on the defensive end, anticipating a pass into the post, jumping the passing lane for the steal, and taking it coast-to-coast for a transition layup. She showed impressive range by knocking down a shot from well beyond the arc without changing her mechanics. The lefty has a good-looking pull-up jumper and displayed a good feel for the game. She attacked the basket well, finishing at the rim or using a nice floater when the defense took away a clean look. She also shot the ball well from three, knocking down shots from beyond the arc. She shot the ball well, knocking down multiple three-pointers, while controlling the flow of the game from the point guard position. Her size gives her a low center of gravity, making it difficult for defenders to disrupt or steal her dribble. She also did a good job using passing lanes and angles to deliver the ball around defenders rather than trying to pass over taller players. Her combination of ball control, shooting, and court awareness allowed her to effectively run the offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
