Hoop Her Middle School Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 4th Annual Hoop Her Middle School Showcase was a well ran event featuring some of the top middle school players in the DMV and virtually every private high school coach and multiple AAU programs. She moved well on the floor and had a smooth, fluid shot off the catch. She showed a soft touch in the mid-range with her pull-up jumper and extended her range beyond the arc, knocking down the corner three. Nadia was also solid defensively, playing with a lot of intensity and competing on every possession. She had good form on her shots. She had a couple of full court drives in transition that looked pretty nice and a series of back to back plays where she made a layup off of an offensive board and followed it up with a steal and layup in the back court. As the day progressed and the competition moved into 5-on-5 play, she became an even more effective finisher. She did a good job finding better angles to get her shots off against taller defenders and showed creativity around the basket. She was one of the taller players in a group heavily made up of players under 5'5”, and she took advantage of her size. She shot the ball well from the mid-range and was a strong finisher around the basket. She knocked down three-pointers from well beyond the arc, showing impressive range and confidence in her shot. What impressed me most, however, was her passing. She consistently delivered accurate full-court passes, showing good vision and the ability to advance the ball quickly and put her teammates in position to score.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
