Offseason Radar Watch Region 3-4A

As the primary creator, if a smaller guard is guarding her, she does a good job of taking advantage of the mismatch by taking them to the paint where she can hit turnaround jumpers, floaters, or just take them to the bucket for a layup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Huffman can also defend all perimeter players, 1-3. She is extremely good at guarding defenders with elite dribbling skills. She can score through contact and has the basketball IQ to use moves like spins at the most ideal points in her drives to the basket to give her the best chance to score.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taylor, as a SG, is also an elite rebounder. She logged multiple double-doubles last season. There, she does a great job at predicting passing lanes, and with that skill, she generated a ton of steals in her junior season. In one game against Boyd Buchanan High School, she had five steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McDonald also has good vertical speed and is under control on the dribble. That allows her to be an efficient fast-break scorer. One of her best moves is her right-to-left crossover. She can use that move to get to the midrange for a jumper often. Ferrell also has the ability to hit shots on the move, especially falling to her left. She often hits those shots after creating space with a right-to-left cross.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ferrell also is great at getting the most out of a screen. She has had multiple games with two or more steals. Her length and ability to read an opponent's dribble are the main sources of her ability to create turnovers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Garrett is an above-average rebounder and is a capable 3-point shooter as well.
