P4 Ready: Five Girls Who Stole The Show At The Expo

We had some of the top kids at the Expo, and you were talking about there being some good battles going on. Our P4 girls (or soon-to-be P4 girls) were in the building, and everyone witnessed some of the best in our state. Don't get me wrong, we had a lot of fearless competitors out there doing their thing as well. Some of those who are Division 1 girls themselves, respectfully; however, the girls who currently hold P4 offers did what they normally do. Paige Bueckers. All I could think about was this young lady moving with the ball in her hands. She was going at opponents. Getting into her bag, finishing through people, scoring on every single level. Then her passing was incredible. I'm talking about the vision was crazy how she threaded the needle. She's the truth, and she let everyone know who she was. This kid was impactful on both ends of the floor. She was doing her thing on the defensive end, but when it came to scoring the rock, she was touring with opponents. Inside, outside, off the dribble, catch-and-shoot, the ball was kissing the bottom of the net. This kid is a special talent and on a mission. Keep tabs on her as she is one to watch throughout the rest of her tenure. Showcasing her speed and her ability to manipulate the basketball, it was a combo move and attack, and there was nothing you could do about it. She was putting on a show but also getting others involved as her team won multiple games. This kid is a heady floor general who can score, run an offense, and just really get paint touches with ease. It's going to be interesting to see where she lands at the next level. Long and rangy, this kid makes the game look easy. She gets after it on both ends of the floor, showing why she is one of the best in her class and in the state. I loved the way she would utilize her body and take advantage of a situation. Her ability to finesse the ball and spin it off the boards is second to none. She went after folks, and if you were in her path, there was no stopping it. Her scoring ability was on display as she knocked down perimeter shots and went to work in the paint. She was solid on the boards, ran the floor well, didn't force the issue, but picked her spots. She got involved early and often, and her squad was in multiple games. The Coalfield standout, who is blessed with great size, showcased her talents for all to see. Look for her to have an upcoming season but also turn a lot of heads at the next level with her scoring ability.
