This kid is the real deal, and she will be one of the next top prospects in the state. The way she controls her body and fights through contact is pretty impressive. She can score from all levels, creates off the dribble, and competes on the defensive end at a high level. This summer and in multiple showcase opportunities, she got after it, leaving nothing to chance. She went at folks, period. Her mindset is just different, and her heading to PC is going to take them up another level.

A kid who brings such talent to the floor; this kid is a beast of a two-way player who is so impactful. Can play 1-4, shoot the rock at a high clip from all 3 levels, finish in the paint. I could go on and on about what she can do, but all you need to know is that she is a difference maker. This kid is going to help elevate the PC program. Adding this giant piece makes them a heavy favorite to punch their ticket to state.

A workhorse. This kid was impactful on both ends of the floor. She was doing her thing on the defensive end, but when it came to scoring the rock, she was touring with opponents. Inside, outside, off the dribble, catch-and-shoot, the ball was kissing the bottom of the net. This kid is a special talent and on a mission. Keep tabs on her as she is one to watch throughout the rest of her tenure. Enrolled at Pearl-Cohn, she gives the Firebirds a deadly weapon for sure.

One of the gems in this class, this athletic winger is a monster on the floor at all times. She is a solid two-way player who does work on both ends of the court. A terror, she is going to find ways to put the ball in the net in more ways than one. She has a nice mid-range game and can exploit the arc, but attacking gaps and finishing are what she does best. I love how she plays with a motor. She doesn’t rest on either end of the court. She will be an asset to a lethal PC attack. She’s the missing link for a ballclub looking to take the next step towards state contention. With great size and build, look for her not only to be a leader of this club but one that will attack the eyes of collegiate coaches throughout the rest of her high school career.

Heading to Pearl-Cohn from Clarksville Academy, CT, is an athletic wing that gets buckets. Playing with a motor, she is going to give opponents fits on both sides of the ball. She can score from multiple levels, but being a slasher using her speed to get to the rim is what she does best. Her defense is one of her calling cards, as she is a stingy defender who gets her hands on the ball. She is a solid two-way player who is a go-getter. This kid will definitely turn collegiate coaches’ heads and put PC in a position to make a title run.

Camille Thomas Camille Thomas 5'10" | SF/PF Pearl-Cohn | 2029 TN , in her first year of high school basketball, has already found a way to impact the game when she is on the court in multiple ways.

Thomas does a bit of everything when she is on the court. For one her elite defensive abilities allow her to guard players 1-5 on the floor in most cases. She is a constant steal threat, especially when it comes to jumping passing lanes. The mix of her speed, basketball IQ, and her long strides all play into this. In a game/scrimmage against Houston County High School last school season Thomas had six steals. Thomas’ promise as a good interior defender was seen in a game against Battle Ground Academy, where she recorded five blocks.

On offense, Thomas is a capable 3-point shooter and a great fastbreak scorer. Her speed going downhill is a big part of her being a good scorer in transition.

Built different. Bringing such a tenacious mentality to the floor, she is an aggressive two-way player who just gets after it. She can get it done from 3, but she is great at using her body to muscle to favorable spots on the floor. She has handles, finishes nicely around the rim, contributes on the board, and locks up on the defensive end. Passes the eye test for sure and brings a hard hat mentality to the floor. Talented kid who is going to jump on coaches’ radars for sure.

Camille’s motor was nonstop all day. She played with toughness and energy on both ends of the floor. Her motor as a freshman was impressive and she stood out by literally just out playing other campers. She showed her ability to knock down the three and consistently made hustle plays that lifted her team.

This kid is going to be special. Has a great frame and plays with relentless energy on both ends of the floor. She can be aggressive, attacking the rim or stepping outside to knock down the 3-point shot. She’s a tough competitor who is willing to do whatever it takes to win that possession. Look for her to elevate the CA program as she brings speed, size, and physicality into the fold.

Athletic guard who can score on multiple levels. She plays with relentless energy on both ends of the floor. Her O may be for the show, but D is the key as this young lady stays active and creates chaos for opponents. Look for her to carve out a solid role and be an important piece for the CA program.
