SC Recruiting Notebook for 9/15

A few more teams are beginning to unveil their regular season schedules and the lineup for some of the state's midseason tournaments are also being revealed.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That list includes 5A Goose Creek's Girls Night Out, defending 2A champion Landrum's Battle at the Border and the always anticipated She Got Next Thanksgiving Tournament. Maralit will remain in state and will sport the threads of USC-Aiken. She is a product of the [program_tooltip program_id='1230024' first='Lady' last='Angels'] program and is preparing for her swan song campaign with a Blue Ridge team that finished its 2025-26 campaign with a solid 23-5 record. The Tigers spent the last couple of seasons in the 4A ranks but will return to 3A play beginning with the upcoming season. Morrow would secure offers from a pair of Virginia schools in Christopher Newport and Marymount. Morrow also holds offers from Randolph Macon and USC-Aiken. The Falcons' guard competed her final season of AAU ball with Team Mack and is preparing for a 2026-27 season with Nation Ford that will see the Falcons move to the 4A ranks after playing up in 5A since the classification was first established in the 2016-17 season. That list has included perennial powers such as South Carolina, Louisville and Tennessee and Dates managed to add Indiana to that list last week. Dates competed this past AAU season with FBC United and has her 5A Goose Creek assembling as a favorite to be the last 5A team standing at the conclusion of the 2026-27 campaign. The latest one would be Boston University of the Patriot League. The 2026 grassroots season is in the rear view mirror and Pojani will be looking to translate her solid play with FBC Reign into even more solid play with defending SCISA 4A champion First Baptist. Pojani would average 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists in the 35 contests she played last season with coach Presley Singleton's Hurricanes. First Baptist is once again set to be one of the toughest outs in the state this season with Pojani as a centerpiece of a stellar Hurricanes backcourt.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
