Following this past season with SCISA 4A First Baptist, Pojani can proudly say that she has participated in two state championship games – and won one of them. She led coach Presley Singleton’s Hurricanes to its first state title since 1980 and was one of the top performers at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit’s Southeast Kickoff in North Carolina. She wore the Mosch Ball uniform at the Circuit event and is now wearing the FBC Reign 2028 uniform for the bulk of her grassroots schedule. Pojani played in 35 games this past season for First Baptist and averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest.

Madison was lights out from behind the arc. She has one of the quickest releases that you will find. She doesn’t need much space or time to get her shot off. I don’t think any of her shots ever touched the rim. She is a 3-level scoring threat that can get to the rim, hit the mid-range, and knock down the long ball consistently. This kid is a stat-stuffer and she is one of the top prospects in the state of SC. Whoever gets this young star at the next level will get an immediate impact player!

Even though Pojani will play the bulk of her travel schedule with FBC Reign 2028 on the Under Armour circuit, she was a guest player with Mosch Ball 17U where she played up in class. She helped Mosch Ball 17U to a 4-1 record – only undefeated Carolina All-Stars 17U P32 fared better this past weekend. One of the premier prospects from the Palmetto State, Pojani is roughly a month removed from leading her First Baptist assembling to a SCISA 4A state championship. This coming weekend will see Pojani wear FBC Reign 2028 threads at another Prep Girls Hoops Circuit event – The Shootout in Nashville.

jumped into passing lanes to get the steal and push it the other direction finding her open teammate for the bucket in transition. She was scoring on all levels hitting her shot from deep, attacking the basket, and pulling up for the midrange. She handled the ball well making adjustments to get the pass to her teammates. She was making nice cuts relocating after the pass getting the ball right back to make the play. She did well getting her hands in the way extending her hands up to block the pass, and she knew what to do with the ball to push it the other direction.

Heading into First Baptist’s SCISA 4A championship clash with Northwood Academy in Sumter, the Hurricanes were looking to finish the business that went unfinished at the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign against Trinity Collegiate. With a 24-point performance, Pojani guided coach Presley Singleton’s Hurricanes to a 64-60 win over the Chargers and to First Baptist’s first state championship since 1980. That victory capped a season for Pojani where she averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest. She is set to play her travel ball with FBC Reign 2028 which plays on the Under Armour circuit.

There is a reason as to why Pojani rose to third in our 2028 rankings. Pojani has been key to the unfinished business mindset that SCISA 4A First Baptist has played with all 2025-26 long. One can count on Pojani to put a crooked number on the scoreboard, but she will collect a large number of steals, haul in her fair share of rebounds and dish out a sizable amount of assists. The Hurricanes advanced to the SCISA 4A championship game last season and Pojani’s play is a huge factor in why First Baptist could be the final SCISA 4A team standing later this month in Sumter.

Those that have observed Pojani so far in 2025-26 have seen her put up some eye-popping statistics this season. Pojani may not have had one of those types of games against a tough 4A out in Gray Collegiate, but she still willed her team with 11 points against the War Eagles. Many a guard has the ability to handle the ball – there are few that do so with the speed and quickness that Pojani brings to the court. She looks to make plays on both offense and defense and the attention she can garner from defenses can open things up for her teammates to make plays.

Pojani stood out as one of the most complete offensive players in attendance. She confidently knocked down long three-pointers and threaded the needle on full-court passes, including an impressive left-handed dime in transition. Her basketball IQ was on full display, and her ability to both score and distribute set her apart from peers. If she is ranked 4th in South Carolina, one through three must be really special players.

Pojani seamlessly fuses together the passing ability of a point guard with the long-range accuracy of a two. She wore SCISA 4A First Baptist purple on 32 occasions last season and averaged 17.3 points, four steals, 3.7 rebounds and three assists a game – as a freshman. She has played up in class with Her Elite 16U and has landed offers from Presbyterian and West Georgia. Her team took part in Run 4 Roses at Louisville and will be one of the many teams on hand in Chicago at the Nike Nationals. Her offensive versatility plus an ability to adjust on the fly make Pojani tough for many a defense to guard.

We mentioned so many of the offers that were extended to standouts from SCISA 4A First Baptist we forgot a few. Pojani, a standout of Her Elite 16U landed offers from Presbyterian and West Georgia during June’s camp month schedule. When one received Division I offers following a freshman season, then one did plenty correct as said freshman. Pojani averaged 17.3 points, four steals, 3.7 rebounds and three assists a game in the 32 games she played last season with the Hurricanes. First Baptist were in last season’s SCISA 4A state championship game last season and Pojani bolsters the Hurricanes’ status as favorites to return to state in 2025-26.
