Following First Baptist’s triumph over Northwood Academy in last season’s SCISA 4A championship tilt, Pojani has continued to solidify her status as one of the most sought after prospects among the Palmetto State’s rising juniors. Pojani’s latest offer would also be of the in-state variety by way of Division I Winthrop and coach Semeka Randall Lay. She has played the 2026 travel season with FBC Reign 2028 as well being a guest player for Mosch Ball at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit’s Southeast Region Kickoff. In the 35 games she played last season with the Hurricanes, she averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists. First Baptist could be the SCISA 4A team to beat once again in 2026-27.

Speaking of noteworthy names from the private school ranks, Pojani appears to land Division I offers with regularity lately. The latest one was of the in-state variety courtesy of Wofford. Pojani’s travel schedule has seen her mostly wear the FBC Reign 2028 uniform but was a guest player with Mosch Ball at the Southeast Kickoff of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit back in late March. She would pay in 35 of the Hurricanes’ 36 games throughout last season. Pojani averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per matchup en route to winning the 2025-26 state championship with First Baptist.

The offers are continuing to read like a who’s who for one of the premier 2028 guards the Palmetto State has to offer. This past week alone, Pojani would secure offers from Radford, East Carolina, College of Charleston, Queens University and Elon. Winning a state championship – as Pojani did in 2025-26 with SCISA 4A First Baptist – along with averaging 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest will do wonders for one’s recruitment. The same applies for when a prospect like Pojani plays in 35 of a team’s 36 games as she did last season for the Hurricanes. Putting up crooked numbers throughout travel ball – as Pojani has done – will also boost one’s number of offers.

Madison was very impressive in the game I watched against an excellent WV Thunder Perry team. The first big play she made was swatting a ball out of bounds on a lay up with both players high in the air. She also applied good on-ball defensive pressure throughout the game for FBC ‘ last=’Reign’] making everything difficult on opposing ball handlers with her active hands and quick feet. Offensively, she definitely lived up to the hype smoothly scoring the ball in a variety of ways against other future college players. She worked extremely hard when she was off the ball, cutting and running off screens to create space for her shot. She knocked down a big three on a flare cut from the top of the key in the first half with excellent form and a quick release as the defender closed out. When her teammate picked up her dribble near the top of the key she did a great job setting up the defender, flashing to the wing before cutting backdoor for a left handed layup. Pojani also used a quick inside out dribble off the catch to knock down another three from the wing. Against one of the very best 16U S40 teams, Madison was as good as advertised finishing with 24 points including five three point shots made.
