Few prospects had a busier week of receiving offers than the 2028 star from SCISA 4A First Baptist. Following her impressive performance at Live at Lakepoint (24.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, three steals per contest) during the live period, Pojani received a bevy of offers – including from Western Carolina, Morehead State, Furman, Tennesse Tech and Liberty. Pojani was also re-offered by Charleston Southern. She played in 35 games this past season for the Hurricanes while leading her team to a SCISA 4A championship. Pojani averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per game. She has two years left at the high school level and she will, without a doubt, have more offers heading in her direction.

Madison was very impressive in the game I watched against an excellent WV Thunder Perry team. The first big play she made was swatting a ball out of bounds on a lay up with both players high in the air. She also applied good on-ball defensive pressure throughout the game for FBC ‘ last=’Reign’] making everything difficult on opposing ball handlers with her active hands and quick feet. Offensively, she definitely lived up to the hype smoothly scoring the ball in a variety of ways against other future college players. She worked extremely hard when she was off the ball, cutting and running off screens to create space for her shot. She knocked down a big three on a flare cut from the top of the key in the first half with excellent form and a quick release as the defender closed out. When her teammate picked up her dribble near the top of the key she did a great job setting up the defender, flashing to the wing before cutting backdoor for a left handed layup. Pojani also used a quick inside out dribble off the catch to knock down another three from the wing. Against one of the very best 16U S40 teams, Madison was as good as advertised finishing with 24 points including five three point shots made.

Following this past season with SCISA 4A First Baptist, Pojani can proudly say that she has participated in two state championship games – and won one of them. She led coach Presley Singleton’s Hurricanes to its first state title since 1980 and was one of the top performers at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit’s Southeast Kickoff in North Carolina. She wore the Mosch Ball uniform at the Circuit event and is now wearing the FBC Reign 2028 uniform for the bulk of her grassroots schedule. Pojani played in 35 games this past season for First Baptist and averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest.

Madison was lights out from behind the arc. She has one of the quickest releases that you will find. She doesn’t need much space or time to get her shot off. I don’t think any of her shots ever touched the rim. She is a 3-level scoring threat that can get to the rim, hit the mid-range, and knock down the long ball consistently. This kid is a stat-stuffer and she is one of the top prospects in the state of SC. Whoever gets this young star at the next level will get an immediate impact player!

Even though Pojani will play the bulk of her travel schedule with FBC Reign 2028 on the Under Armour circuit, she was a guest player with Mosch Ball 17U where she played up in class. She helped Mosch Ball 17U to a 4-1 record – only undefeated Carolina All-Stars 17U P32 fared better this past weekend. One of the premier prospects from the Palmetto State, Pojani is roughly a month removed from leading her First Baptist assembling to a SCISA 4A state championship. This coming weekend will see Pojani wear FBC Reign 2028 threads at another Prep Girls Hoops Circuit event – The Shootout in Nashville.

jumped into passing lanes to get the steal and push it the other direction finding her open teammate for the bucket in transition. She was scoring on all levels hitting her shot from deep, attacking the basket, and pulling up for the midrange. She handled the ball well making adjustments to get the pass to her teammates. She was making nice cuts relocating after the pass getting the ball right back to make the play. She did well getting her hands in the way extending her hands up to block the pass, and she knew what to do with the ball to push it the other direction.

Heading into First Baptist’s SCISA 4A championship clash with Northwood Academy in Sumter, the Hurricanes were looking to finish the business that went unfinished at the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign against Trinity Collegiate. With a 24-point performance, Pojani guided coach Presley Singleton’s Hurricanes to a 64-60 win over the Chargers and to First Baptist’s first state championship since 1980. That victory capped a season for Pojani where she averaged 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest. She is set to play her travel ball with FBC Reign 2028 which plays on the Under Armour circuit.

There is a reason as to why Pojani rose to third in our 2028 rankings. Pojani has been key to the unfinished business mindset that SCISA 4A First Baptist has played with all 2025-26 long. One can count on Pojani to put a crooked number on the scoreboard, but she will collect a large number of steals, haul in her fair share of rebounds and dish out a sizable amount of assists. The Hurricanes advanced to the SCISA 4A championship game last season and Pojani’s play is a huge factor in why First Baptist could be the final SCISA 4A team standing later this month in Sumter.

Those that have observed Pojani so far in 2025-26 have seen her put up some eye-popping statistics this season. Pojani may not have had one of those types of games against a tough 4A out in Gray Collegiate, but she still willed her team with 11 points against the War Eagles. Many a guard has the ability to handle the ball – there are few that do so with the speed and quickness that Pojani brings to the court. She looks to make plays on both offense and defense and the attention she can garner from defenses can open things up for her teammates to make plays.
