The Expo is coming to Grand Rapids on Saturday, September 26th, and the talent already registered should make for a competitive day of basketball. With college coaches expected to be in attendance, it is also a great opportunity for prospects to compete, gain exposure, and put their game on display. After highlighting several uncommitted 2027s I would love to see at the event, it's time to turn the attention to the Class of 2028. There is plenty of talent in this class across Michigan, and I have a growing list of prospects I would love to see added to The Expo. Here are some 2028s I'd like to have in the gym on September 26th.

Use code "Danyle26PGH25OFF" when signing up for a discount!

Emily is a 2028 prospect I would absolutely love to see at The Expo. She has already shown she can make a major impact while playing up against older competition, and her ability to affect the game in so many areas is what makes her such an intriguing prospect. Emily can take over as a scorer when needed, knock down big shots from behind the arc, and create quality opportunities for her teammates with her vision and high-level passing. She also competes on the glass, going into traffic and finding ways to come away with rebounds from the guard position. What I really like about Emily is that she doesn't have to score to influence a game—she can facilitate, rebound, defend, or make the play her team needs in the moment. After watching her earn First Team 17U All-Tournament honors and co-MVP recognition while playing up at the PGH MI State Tournament, Emily is high on my list of 2028 prospects I would love to get in the gym and in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Maddy is a 2028 guard I would love to see at The Expo because of the energy and two-way impact she brings to the floor. Her quickness is a major part of her game, especially defensively, where she applies consistent pressure, disrupts opposing guards, and can turn steals into easy scoring opportunities on the other end. Offensively, Maddy has shown she can stretch the defense by knocking down shots from behind the arc, but she isn't limited to the perimeter. She will attack the basket, play through contact, and find ways to finish at the rim. Her ability to defend, create offense with her defense, shoot from the perimeter, and put pressure on the rim gives her a lot to offer on both ends. Maddy is definitely a 2028 prospect I would love to see competing in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Olivia is a 2028 guard I would love to see at The Expo because of the combination of size, shooting ability, and two-way potential she brings to the floor. She is a long guard who can really shoot the basketball, showing confidence from behind the arc along with a quick release that makes it difficult for defenders to close out and contest. Olivia also has the footwork to create her own look, including a smooth step-back that allows her to generate separation on the perimeter. Her length adds another dimension to her game on the defensive end, where she can use it to bother opposing guards, get into passing lanes, and make plays on the ball. A long guard who can stretch the floor and impact the game defensively is always intriguing, and Olivia is a 2028 prospect I would love to see showcase her game in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Lauren is a 2028 guard I would love to see at The Expo because of the versatility and two-way impact she brings to the floor. She is a long, athletic guard who can contribute in a variety of ways, whether she is creating for teammates, scoring the basketball, rebounding, or making plays defensively. Lauren sees the floor extremely well and has shown excellent vision in the pick-and-roll, making smart reads and delivering passes at the right time. Offensively, she can finish around the basket while also stretching the defense with her ability to knock down shots from behind the arc. Her length and athleticism show up on the glass, where she can secure rebounds and quickly help get the offense moving in transition. Defensively, Lauren uses her length, activity, and instincts to disrupt plays, jump passing lanes, and create turnovers. With her ability to impact so many areas of the game, Lauren is a 2028 prospect I would love to see compete in front of the college coaches at The Expo.

Kaylee is a 2028 point guard I would love to see at The Expo because she has the qualities you look for in a true floor general. She is quick and shifty with the ball in her hands, using her handle to break down defenders, get into the paint, and force the defense to react. What stands out is her ability to make the right read once she gets there, whether that means finding an open shooter on the perimeter, delivering the ball inside to a post player, or taking the scoring opportunity herself. Kaylee can get downhill and has the craftiness, touch, and control to finish through traffic around the basket. She does a great job balancing scoring with creating for others, allowing her to keep teammates involved while running the offense. Point guards who can control the game and consistently make good decisions are valuable, and Kaylee is a 2028 prospect I would love to see running the show in front of the college coaches at The Expo.
