Wisconsin Freshman Showcase: Top Players (Part 2)

On one play she had a nice baseline reverse lay-up and another time she took it down the lane finishing through contact for an And-1. Initially with her tenacious defense and also as one of the better finishers on the fast break and at the hoop in general; granted most of those opportunities came because of her great defense...Around the basket, she had several acrobatic finishes including a pretty left-to-right spinning underhand finish while falling to the floor and showed a nice outside touch with several three-pointers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1254004"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6aa2fbc97c835"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Magestro impressed me on Sunday initially with her intangibles. She was, by far the most vocal player, on the court, directing and encouraging her teammates, showing good leadership traits. With the ball in her hands, Magestro made good decisions knowing when to find a teammate or call her own number. Around the hoop, the 5-10 white showed crisp footwork and the ability, and strength to finish in traffic. On the perimeter she showed a very quick first step easily blowing by her defender, getting into the paint, and, on one occasion showing a nice right-to-left crossover spin move that drew a reaction from the fans.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
