Magestro has solid handles and can put defenses in uncomfortable positions. The Edgerton guard also changes directions well and can beat her initial defender off the dribble. She also plays with aggression as a lead guard and can score the ball in volume when she finds a rhythm. She’s a talented kid who can swing games when she’s at her best.

Magestro impressed me on Sunday initially with her intangibles. She was, by far the most vocal player, on the court, directing and encouraging her teammates, showing good leadership traits. With the ball in her hands, Magestro made good decisions knowing when to find a teammate or call her own number. A strong defender, Magestro played great help side defense and clogged up the lane on several occasions leading to steals for her team.

Magestro is a talented guard watching the scrimmages I noticed her taking a leadership role no matter the situation. During the drill work she was showing what she can do 1on1 vs high level players here.

It was a pleasure watching Magestro on Day 1. She brought energy to an already fired up Prime Nation squad and instantly made an impact. Her effectiveness on the court stood out, and I saw a playmaker who will be a key part in the team’s success moving forward.
