212 Elite: Unlock Your Edge Elite Combine Standouts Pt 1

Prep Girls Hoops covered the 212 Elite: Unlock Your Edge Elite Combine on Sunday, October 4th featuring professional coach Reid Ouse at the Bulldog Activity Center in Canton, Ohio. The participates were prospects throughout the Classes of 2031-2027 who participated in skill workouts and live play throughout the afternoon. In this article, I will breakdown and evaluate our first list of standouts from the event on Sunday afternoon! Every time I watch Rylee I see a new element to her game that continues to impress me! Really versatile! [player_tooltip player_id='1235728' first='Rylee' last='Milner'] is able to bring the ball up versus pressure and get right to the basket on downhill drives and score. No doubt she was one of the most skills prospects at the combine. She has a real solid post game where she uses her elite footwork to score around the hoop. She doesn't rush her inside looks, but rather takes her time and scores with strength through contact. She's certainly on my radar for 2027s to keep an eye on this coming season! Perryn has an incredible motor and intensity to her game that really catches your eye. [player_tooltip player_id='1895055' first='Perryn' last='Mishler'] is an all-around talent who can and will leave her impact on both ends of the floor with her passing, shooting, and defensive instincts. I love her communication on defense! She is gritty and relentless on both ends and plays with a high level installed level of confidence. I know this junior combo guard drew the interest of many college coaches in attendance at the Unlock Your Edge Elite Combine on Sunday! She should find a role at the college level at D3 or D2 purely based on her toughness and high motor! Analise is a confident combo guard who knows when to take her shot. She is a knockdown from the corner with her pure stroke. You have to find her in transition! [player_tooltip player_id='1235707' first='Analise' last='Lucey'] is also a pesky defender who sits in a stance and pressures the ball well. This junior combo guard caught my eye at the Unlock Your Edge Elite Combine on Sunday with her play on both ends. She has a solid motor and competes on every possession. A junior guard with high upside looking to take a big leap this year at Wadsworth! Now here's a sophomore to keep your eyes on! The tallest girl at the combine with the natural tools to impact both ends. Huge wingspan and length! Still a little raw offensively but the tools are all there to become impactful. She can score around the basket but her biggest impact is her defense. [player_tooltip player_id='1803391' first='Myah' last='Soares'] is elite at walling up and protecting the rim with her length. Huge shot blocker! Rebounding also comes easy for her at her size. Hard to find a sophomore who's over 6 feet and can move her fee the the way Soares can. Once the offense comes together and she gets a bigger role, watch out! Rylie is a sophomore who continued to improve throughout the combine. You can't teach size, and Rylie certainly has that! She is a quality scorer and rebounder for a sophomore and should only be getting better as she gets a bigger role at Philo. A forward who can handle the ball at her size is rare and makes for matchup advantages. Rylie Trout also has a nose for the ball, looking for steal at every chance she gets. I'm keeping an eye on this sophomore and her overall development this year.
